A sight glass, also known as an observation glass, can be installed horizontally, vertically, or arbitrarily.
Applications: Sight glasses are used in chemical towers where temperatures are high, corrosive, toxic, hazardous, and prone to crystallization to ensure safe production.
Structure: A sight glass mainly consists of a base plate, the glass itself, and valve assemblies.
Sanitary pipe sight glasses are characterized by their small installation size, low driving torque, simple and quick operation, and excellent flow regulation and sealing properties. They are the dominant type of sight glass used in medium to large diameter, low-to-medium pressure applications.

⑴ Cleaning Treatment. Before use, you can gently wipe the surface with a small amount of alcohol-soaked cotton. Note: Do not use acidic liquids for cleaning, as this may corrode the glass surface.
(2) Select the correct gasket. For ambient operating temperatures below 280°C, asbestos or PTFE gaskets are sufficient. When the ambient operating temperature exceeds 500°C, graphite gaskets are recommended. Note: The thicker the glass, the thicker the gasket should be.
