The maintenance and care methods for sanitary diaphragm valves mainly include the following aspects:

Daily Cleaning: Daily cleaning of sanitary diaphragm valves is a crucial step in ensuring a sterile production environment. During cleaning, the valve should be closed and isolated first. Use a suitable cleaning agent to thoroughly rinse the valve body, both inside and out, using CIP (Clean In-Place) or manual methods, paying particular attention to the cavity below the diaphragm to ensure no residue remains.

Regular Inspection and Maintenance: Check Sealing

Regularly check the valve's sealing performance, especially the diaphragm's integrity. Replace it promptly if wear or damage is found to prevent leakage.

Check Connections
Regularly check the valve connections and their sealing performance to ensure there are no leaks. When replacing valve connections or resealing, ensure that appropriate connections and sealing rings are used and installed according to the operating instructions.

Lubrication and Maintenance
Lubrication of sanitary diaphragm valves is crucial for valve protection. The lubricant should be selected based on the material and operating temperature and applied during diaphragm valve disassembly and assembly. During use, regularly check the diaphragm valve's lubrication and replenish lubricant as needed to ensure proper valve operation.

Avoid Excessive Force
When operating sanitary diaphragm valves, avoid using excessive force to open or close the valve to prevent damage or leakage. Operate gently and smoothly; do not pull forcefully or use excessive force with tools.

Other maintenance recommendations:

Lubricating oil usage: The valve stem thread frequently rubs against the valve stem nut; therefore, a certain amount of oil should be maintained at the thread for lubrication to ensure free movement of the valve stem.

Environmental protection: Spare sanitary diaphragm valves should be stored in a dry indoor location, and the interfaces should be sealed with waxed cardboard or plugs to prevent contaminants from entering.

Operating procedures: When closing or opening the valve, long levers or long wrenches/handwheels must not be used.
